Full Day Jeep Tour

Ten signature sites of the protected desert, explored by jeep with hiking, scrambling, a freshly cooked Bedouin lunch in the shade โ€” closing with sunset at Um Sabatah.

Full day ยท Check-in 9:30 AM, departure 30โ€“45 min after sunset

This is the day that introduces you to Wadi Rum. Ten of the most celebrated sites in the protected area, woven together by a Bedouin guide who has driven these tracks since childhood. You travel by jeep between the wide-open stops, then leave the vehicle for canyons, dunes and the kind of scramble that earns the view at the top.

Around midday, your guide lights a small fire in the shade and prepares a fresh Bedouin lunch โ€” usually Galayah Bandura, a tomato stew that tastes like nothing else when eaten beneath a cliff face. In winter we keep moving; in summer we rest longer to let the heat pass. Tea follows. Then the afternoon: more bridges, the slow climb of Um Fruth, and Um Sabatah for sunset.

Departure is 30โ€“45 minutes after the sun goes down, which puts us back at the office in the dark. This tour is the most popular for a reason โ€” one full day of desert, lunch, history and silence.
